How to write a good methods section
There are a few rules for writing a good methods section, but the important thing is probably to organise the section in chronological order, i.e. describing the experiment in the order of things happening in the trial.
The final paragraph of the methods section is most often reserved for a mentioning of statistical methods used and the permissions obtained e.g. from The Research Ethics Committee, the Data Protection Agency, and registering in trials databases.
